“To the complaint, 'There are no people in these photographs,' I
respond, There are always two people: the photographer and the viewer.”
―
Ansel Adams
As an artist, I have always had a camera in hand to try to capture reference pictures for paintings, and to record a image of my paintings. Through the years, I have taken several photography classes in an attempt to understand my cameras and the exposure triangle. It wasn't till I joined some photography groups and began to go out and shoot with others that the learning process really began. I have a lot more to learn but it improves all the time. I have a group of photographers that take photography trips together. It is so wonderful to be with those that understand why you need to take 20 shots of the same scene or stop suddenly beside the road because you thought you saw something interesting.
Some of our trips have been to Big Bend, Texas, Texas Hill Country, Austin, Texas, Waco, Texas, Destin, Florida, Llano Texas Earth Fest, Caddo Lake, Texas, Pawhuska, Ok and many nights under the dark night sky shooting stars.

I mostly use Adobe Lightroom as my photo editor, but also use adobe Photoshop. I store all my photos on a external drive. And the edited photos on Adobe Cloud. I really need to organize them better, but it is more fun to be taking photos. I have a print on demand site, if you are interested in prints of my work.
Here are a few of my photos.
